EB-5 Regional Center Immigration Investor Program.

On March 15, 2022, The EB-5 Reform and Integrity Act of 2022 (RIA) was enacted with the USCIS published on its web site a new Guidance on numerous aspects of the EB-5 program as affected by enactment.  The EB-5 RC program was extended as part of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2022 (H.R. 2471).

ACRC Regional Center Termination.

On March 29, 2019, USCIS issued a Notice of Intent to Terminate ACRC EB-5 regional center of America Commonwealth Regional Center, LLC (ACRC) from the Immigrant Investor Program.  The regional center was subsequently terminated from the program.

EB-5 Regional Center Immigration Investor Program.

On March 23, 2018, the EB-5 RC program was extended unchanged to September 30, 2018 as part of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2018 (H.R. 1625).

On May 5, 2017, the EB-5 RC program was extended unchanged to September 30, 2017 as part of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2017 (H.R. 244).

ACRC Regional Center Designation.

On August 23, 2016, USCIS approved America Commonwealth Regional Center, LLC (ACRC) as a qualifying participant in the Immigrant Investor Program.  USCIS approved ACRC’s request to focus, promote economic growth, and offer capital investment opportunities in the following geographic area: Virginia, Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia for the following industry categories (NAICS): Construction (23); Retail Trade (44-45); Information (51); Real Estate and Rental and Leasing (53); Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (54); Health Care and Social Assistance (62); Educational Services (61); Accommodations and Food Services (72); and Other Services (81).

EB-5 Regional Center Immigration Investor Program.

On December 8, 2015, RC program was extended unchanged to September 30, 2016 as part of an appropriations act (PL 114-113).

EB-5 Regional Center Immigration Investor Program.

On September 30, 2015, RC program was extended unchanged to December 11, 2015 as part of a continuing resolution (PL 114-53).

ACRC filed application for Regional Center.

On July 22, 2013, America Commonwealth Regional Center, LLC (ACRC) filed Form I-924, Application for Regional Center under the Immigrant Investor Pilot Program, with the USCIS.

EB-5 Regional Center Immigration Investor Program.

On September 28, 2012, President Obama signed S. 3245 which ratifies the three year reauthorization of the EB-5 Regional Center Pilot Program which solidifies the program until September 30, 2015. There are two ways that you can make an EB-5 investment, either through the regional center program or through a direct investment into a stand alone business (also called ”direct EB-5” or ”individual EB-5”). For the latter option, no reauthorization is needed; however, the project can’t include any indirect jobs.
